The holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" is located in the middle of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin, a large nature reserve surrounded by forests, lakes, hills and castles. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday domain, there is so much to do and see that you will be short of time to discover all its beauty. Most excursions, day trips and sights are easy to plan by car or bicycle as they are only a few kilometres from the holiday domain.

On the holiday domain "Le Domaine du Moulin Neuf 1605" you can enjoy, relax and stay in an oasis of peace, space and nature. There is no need to leave the holiday domain to have fun and be (actively) active. You can go for lovely walks with your dog in the private forest, go swimming in the large natural pond and let the children play in the streams and rivers of the "Périgord". Centre de la Mémoire d'Oradour sur Glane - Village Martyr
Visit the village of Oradour sur Glane that was destroyed in the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre on 10 June 1944, troops of the German 2nd Waffen SS armoured division raided the village in retaliation, herded the men into granaries and executed them, herded the women and children into the imposing church where there was a box of explosives, and when they went outside and tried to escape, the survivors were shot dead, and then the rest of the village as well. 642 people were thus killed in three hours and the village was destroyed. It was the largest Nazi massacre of civilians in France, probably also the largest in Western Europe, and became the symbol of Nazi barbarism for the French. Parc Zoo du Reynou

Parc Zoo du Reynou with safaripark is a spacious zoo, a 100-hectare nature reserve with over 120 animal species and more than 600 animals including large mammals and birds! The many animals living here do so in semi-freedom which means they mostly exhibit their natural behaviour. The zoo Parc Zoo du Reynou is located just below Limoges in the town of Vigne and is laid out on the estate of a 19th-century Château on the "Domaine du Reynou". Plan d'eau de Miallet - The Miallet reservoir

The Miallet reservoir (Plan d'eau de Miallet) and its associated tourist attraction in the town of Miallet and is located in the east of the municipality, on the outskirts of the town of La Coquille.  With its 77 hectares, it is the largest body of water within a radius of 80 km. It was created in 1993 on the course of the Côle, a tributary of the Dronne. The area is managed by the Dordogne department under the label "Sensitive Natural Area" with the help of the departmental fishermen's association and the local association "Bambou de Mialet".
